This Is Where Your Body Changes
“Fitness isn’t a punishment; it’s a blessing. Nutrition isn’t restrictive; it’s healing. Health isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing and may not look the same for everyone, but it sure as hell is worth fighting for.”

For the record, it’s not even a cleanse. It’s a reality check. There are phases in your dieting life. You can’t just eat whatever you want, even if 75% of it is healthy, and expect to lose weight unless you’ve earned that right. Jungle Gym consists of new dieters and some dieters that eat healthy 85-90% of the time. They’ve earned their 10% of freedom, but you can’t tell a person who is 50 pounds over weight to eat cookies and pizza every weekend and expect them to get the results they want.
That’s why we create “cleanses” and transformations. These transformations are what you should be eating daily. These lengths of time that we promote cleanses and transformations are for two reasons; to keep you in check and to let you have some accountability with all of the peers you are making diet changes with.
You can’t hide bad eating on the holidays. So what’s wrong with going on a binge clean-eating spree? Absolutely nothing at all. Better than giving falsified information that only works on people who have been training and eating right for 10 years.
After a vacation or season full of poor food choices, before we start a crush diet or lifestyle change, it’s best if we prep ourselves for our body to digest foods at it’s best. We take out 5 major food sources that cause a lot of problems in your digestive system and organs.
We won’t live totally free of these forever, but it’s best if you get to know your body.
Have you ever done a dairy or nut cleanse before?
Go about 3 weeks to a month without consuming any of them. Then eat a huge spoonful of peanut butter and chug a glass of milk. It will feel like a cement block in your chest and gut, partially because your body does not break these down well.
Concentrate on consuming vegetables, fruits, lean proteins such as fish and eggs, and carbohydrates like rice, oats, and potatoes. A big part of your cleanse will be consuming your bodyweight in ounces of water.
Here is a sample day during your cleanse.
Breakfast: Eggs, Fruit, and Oats
Lunch: Beans, Vegetables, Lean Proteins
Dinner: Lean Protein, Double Vegetable, White Rice or Potato
Snacks: Fruits and Vegetables
We also want to add a probiotic for gut health and a digestive enzyme for pancreas and liver cleanse.
Many probiotics and enzymes you can buy at nutrition stores and are taken with meals. My preferred brands of both are “Raw Meal” and are bought online. You can find Raw Meal Probiotic at NPN Nutrition Corner. Make sure your bacteria strands are as high as possible (100 billion).
Stay on track with this and your digestive systems will be able to help your body transform with whatever nutrition program you decide to do.
